Complete porcelain design using “Sense”, the theme of the competition, and upload your personal photo, pictures of your work, a description of your work and a design proposal to the official site. Please upload the relevant materials in the specified form after reading the instruction below.

• Please upload pictures of the entry in My FRANZ AWARD of the official site; be sure to include 3 pictures of the artwork from different viewing angles for each piece or series of artworks.
• Background shall be removed from the pictures; there shall not be any background texts or captions except the artworks in the picture file.
• The picture format shall be jpeg in RGB mode; the size and resolution shall be A4 (210*297) and 300 dpi respectively; the size of each picture file shall not exceed 2mb.

• Provide a description of the work less than 300 words in the official language of the competition (Chinese or English).

• Upload the design proposal besides the 3 pictures (background removed) of the entry; please present the design proposal in the official language (Chinese or English) of the competition.
• The design proposal should not exceed 3 pages of paper in A4 (297*210mm) size; the file shall be in PDF and its size shall not exceed 2mb.
• Judges grade the primary entries based on the design proposal, so please clearly present the “design concept”, “appearance and size of the artworks”, “product packaging and size”, “material description”, etc.

The Finalists shall submit the “finished work and relevant packaging” and “marketing plan”. Please submit and upload the relevant materials in the specified form after reading the instruction below.

• Please provide the finished work with relevant packaging according to the design proposal submitted in the preliminaries.
• Slight adjustment, such as size, number of pieces of artworks, etc., is allowable, but finished work irrelevant to the design proposal submitted during the preliminaries will not be accepted.
• The organizer will provide subsidies up to NT$30,000 to cover the production cost of the finished work for the teams of the finals; the actual expenses will be reimbursed provided with receipts/invoices.

• Please provide a marketing plan, which shall include at least the design idea, market analysis, consumer analysis, marketing objectives, marketing strategy, benefit evaluation, etc., based on the finished design.
• Please prepare the marketing plan using Microsoft Powerpoint and control the file size within 10mb.
• Write the plan in the official language (Chinese or English) of the competition; there is no limit on the number of pages and content, but please make sure the plan can be presented within 7 minutes.
• Please upload the marketing plan in “PPT” to My FRANZ AWARD of the official site; print the plan in 7 copies and mail them along with the finished work to the organizer.

Please mail the finished work and marketing plan or deliver them in person to the organizer before 5:00 pm. (Taipei Time GMT+8), Nov. 24 (Sat.), 2012.
